Almighty God’s Grand Design For The Body of Christ.
Introduction.

And to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. Ephesians 3v9-11.

For quite sometime I have began to perceive the prompting of the Holy Speaking to re-evaluate the role and purpose of the church, the body of Christ, I have been led to examine the existence of why the church is here, and to study the church as it is today and compare it with the church that began in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost.

Quite a number of years ago a fire brand of a preacher  received a challenging word from the Holy Spirit, this word led the man of God to re-address his own life as an individual, and to re-evaluate the nature and purpose of the church as seen in the mind of Almighty God, the word that challenged him is the same message that should drive every believer to his knees in prayer and supplication here is the message;

“It has yet to be seen what Almighty God can do with the church if the church will only let Him.” D.L.Moody.

Its time for the church to be the church that Jesus Christ died for and through His resurrection and ascension empowered it to function on this earth.

Its time for the body of Christ to arise and take up the authority and exercise the power  and righteous dominion that Almighty God has placed into this company of the redeemed of the Lord.

Christ is The Living Head of The Church.

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. Matthew 16v18.

Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God. Colossians 2v18-19.

Every believer in Christ must come into the realm of revealed knowledge, every believer, to be equipped for the ministry that Almighty God has purposed and ordained for the body of Christ in these last days must understand the power that Jesus Christ has laid at the disposal of the church.

Jesus Christ is the master architect of the church, and most importantly He is the life and strength of the body, there is a divine origin, and a divine order in the role and capacity of the church on this earth, Jesus Christ is the living head of the church, there is a life and power in the body that flows from the throne of Almighty God and His glory.

“The church, the body of Christ commands the thought and attention of Almighty God, this must become a living reality in the heart of the believer, Almighty God has a care, a concern for the well-being, and growth of the church, not on the merit of this earthly company of people in their own right, nothing of, or in themselves  can earn the eye or heart of God, but Almighty God honours the blood of redemption that Christ poured out on Calvary, and through this sacrifice, the heart and mind of Almighty God is towards and for those who accept the only means of grace and mercy.”

Every believer in Christ must gain insight into this covenant relationship that Jesus Christ has granted to the church, each believer must understand the unique relationship that Almighty God has for the body of Christ, in Christ.

“In the church, to the church, with the church, whichever way you look, whichever way that you examine it, Almighty God is totally committed to fulfil His promises and purposes through the church, to the world, to reveal the magnitude of the glory of Christ.”

The Church, in the Mind of God.

From the beginning of time Almighty God has held the church in His mind, from before the existence of time itself Almighty God destined, and purposed for a company of redeemed, born of the Spirit, washed in the blood, acknowledging the Lordship of Christ to arise in these end times and take their appointed position, to stand in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I have perceived in my spirit a threefold admonishment from the Word by the authority of the Holy Spirit, these three exhortations are;

1] Each and every believer in Christ has a destiny to fulfil.
2] Each and every believer must have ears to hear, and eyes to behold the course or path that they must take.
3] Each and every believer must have a renewal of the Presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

There is an acute need in the life of the individual believer, a twofold revealed and received revelation, the first is the full comprehension of the place of the believer in Christ in the Will of God, and second the receiving of the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer to step into the flow of the mind of God.
